This will include the study/practice of most of the following: posture, breathing, vocal & physical exercises, basic musicianship (music reading & sight singing), diction, languages, motivation, gesturing and presentation.

What Will It Cost?

Expenses for vocal study fall into 3 areas: materials, lessons and accompanists. See Rates & Fees: Lessons and Materials. A nominal fee ($5 to $10/student) is charged for accompanists when provided.

Partial Scholarships are available to qualifying students. Please contact us for more information.

Do I pay for lessons in advance or may I pay for each lesson as I go?

Teachers need to be reasonably certain of their income. Lessons are therefore billed monthly, for the upcoming calendar month, usually including four lessons per month. Several times a year, there is a fifth lesson in a month which will be reflected on your invoice.

How do I pay for lessons?

Accepted forms of payment are cash, check (made payable to “Sing for the Health of It Sudios”) , Intuit GoPayment (credit cards) onsite or Paypal. Tuition is billed in advance, and is due by the 10th of the month; for example, tuition for the month of June would be due on June 10th.

What is the Studio’s cancellation policy?

12 hours advance notice is required in order to schedule a makeup lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice are subject to full payment. Cancellations can be made 24/7 by calling the Studio (970.460.6708) or sending an email (Sing4theHealthofIt@gmail.com).

Does the Studio close for holidays and summer vacation?

The Studio is closed 1-2 weeks in the summer (TBD) and between Christmas and New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Lessons also may be cancelled due to snow/weather as needed. All closure dates will be confirmed.
